Class Project for TWC 411: Principles of Visual Communication

In the summer of 2024, I took Principles of Visual Communication as a part of my undergraduate studies at Arizona State University. This hands-on design course taught me how to apply principles of design, typography, and color alongside theories and practices of visual communication. For this project, I was challenged to design an original book cover for a famous book of choice using only typography and color to convey emotion. I chose Ayn Rand's Anthem, a personal favorite and a classic novella that explores identity through the lenses of collectivism and individualism.
